The Mountain of Gods

As the snowy mountain tops merge Heaven and Earth, a restless landscape can be seen where clouds, lightning and thunder battle for domination. It was from the glorious Mount Olympus that the gods would announce the arrival of the new day, “Olympion Hemar”. The light from which life is transmitted to the mountain’s diverse flora – in particular to its aromatic tea.

Unique Eco-system

With more than 1700 recorded species of plants (representing 25% of Greek flora), Mt. Olympus is considered to be one of the most diverse eco-systems in the world. Moreover, the temperate climate, the relatively low precipitation and the long hours of sunshine during the whole year, create an ideal natural environment  for aromatic herb farming. 

Organic Farming

Mountain tea gathering  has been one of the main occupations of the people living in the foothills of Mt. Olympus. In “Olympion Hemar” we keep  our intervention at a minimum level across the whole production process. We combine traditional methods with innovative techniques in order to offer products with premium organoleptic characteristics. We implement sustainable organic farming to reach the peak of quality.
